These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") apply to all purchases made on riseabeauty.com and to all use of our website and services.
In these Terms:

1. Who We Are
1.1. Risea Beauty is a trading name of BGB Commerce Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12903624.
1.2. Our Services are powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our website and related services to you. Any sales and purchases made in our store are made directly with Risea Beauty, not with Shopify.
1.3. We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms and your order confirmation for your records.
2. Access, Account & Age Restriction
2.1. Age Requirement: By using our Services or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not sell products to anyone under 18. Orders placed by persons under 18 will be cancelled and refunded.
2.2. We reserve the right to request proof of age and to cancel any order where we believe the customer does not meet this age requirement.
2.3. To use our Services, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing, payment and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all information provided is correct, current and complete, and that you have all rights necessary to provide such information.
2.4. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all account activity. You may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account to any other person.
2.5. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms.
3. Application of These Terms
3.1. These Terms apply to all customers, whether purchasing as a consumer or for business purposes.
3.2. If you are a UK consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in these Terms limits or removes those statutory rights.
3.3. If you are purchasing as a business, you acknowledge that you are not a consumer and that certain consumer protections do not apply to you. All implied warranties, conditions and terms are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3.4. You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export, unless expressly agreed in writing.
3.5. By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you should not place an order.
4. Our Products & Descriptions
4.1. We have made every effort to provide accurate representations of our products in our online store. However, product images, descriptions, colours and specifications are provided for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly.
4.2. Colours and product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen due to device settings, screen calibration and display configuration. We do not warrant that products will look identical to their online representation.
4.3. We do not warrant that the appearance, quality or performance of any product will meet your subjective expectations.
4.4. All descriptions, specifications and prices are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion.
4.5. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit quantities offered to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.
4.6. Our products are sourced from various international suppliers. Minor manufacturing variations, packaging differences or specification adjustments may occur.
4.7. All products are supplied with or reference manufacturer instructions, safety warnings and usage guidelines. You are required to read and follow all supplied documentation before use.
5. Orders & Contract Formation
5.1. When you place an order at checkout (by clicking "Place Order" or equivalent), you are making an offer to purchase. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.
5.2. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion.
5.3. A legally binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email confirming dispatch. At this point, the goods will be dispatched to you.
5.4. We may refuse, suspend or cancel any order prior to dispatch, including where:
- A pricing or listing error has occurred
- Payment cannot be authorised or is declined
- Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected
- Stock is unavailable
- You are not permitted to purchase from us
- We are not permitted to sell the goods to you
- The order is of unusual size or quantity suggesting commercial intent
5.5. If an order is cancelled prior to dispatch, a full refund will be issued.
5.6. Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after dispatch.
5.7. Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days, although this may extend during peak periods.
6. Prices, Billing & Payment
6.1. All prices are displayed in your selected currency at checkout.
6.2. Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed and confirmed in your order confirmation email.
6.3. We are not VAT registered. Prices exclude VAT, sales tax or similar charges that may apply in your jurisdiction.
6.4. Posted prices do not include customs duties, import charges or taxes applicable in the destination country. See section 9 for full details.
6.5. Prices posted in our store may differ from prices offered in third-party stores or marketplaces.
6.6. Your payment method will be charged in full when you place your order, not when we dispatch it.
6.7. You represent and warrant that: (i) the payment information you provide is true, correct and complete; (ii) you are duly authorised to use the payment method; (iii) charges will be honoured by your card issuer or payment provider; and (iv) you will pay all charges incurred at the posted prices, including applicable shipping and taxes.
6.8. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and account information for all purchases, and to promptly update this information as needed.
6.9. For orders placed in currencies other than GBP, any exchange rate differences, conversion fees or charges applied by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility.
7. Payment Methods
7.1. We accept payment via Shopify Payments, which processes the following methods:

7.2. All payments are processed securely via encrypted payment gateways. Payment information is never stored on our servers. Shopify handles all payment processing and security in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
7.3. All payments require authorisation by the relevant card issuer or payment provider. If payment is declined, your order will not be processed.
7.4. All transactions are final once your order is confirmed. Refunds are only issued in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy or your statutory rights.
8. Shipping & Delivery
8.1. We ship to the UK, USA and selected EU countries.
8.2. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
8.3. Typical delivery times:
- UK mainland: 3–7 business days
- USA: 7–14 business days
- EU: 7–14 business days
8.4. We are not liable for shipping or delivery delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Couriers or shipping carriers
- Customs or border authorities
- Weather, natural disasters or events beyond our reasonable control
- Incorrect address information provided by the customer
- Customer unavailability for delivery
8.5. Risk of Loss: Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
8.6. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address at checkout. We are not liable for losses or delays resulting from incorrect address details.
8.7. If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address or customer unavailability, any redelivery, storage or return charges imposed by the carrier are your responsibility and may be deducted from any refund issued.
8.8. Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to you. Any loss, theft or damage after delivery must be reported to the carrier and relevant local authority.
8.9. We may deliver your order in multiple instalments without prior notice.
8.10. Unless you and we agree otherwise, if we cannot deliver your goods within 45 days of the confirmation email, we will notify you, cancel your order, and issue a refund.

9. International Orders, Customs & Import Duties
9.1. For all international orders, import duties, customs charges, VAT, sales tax or other fees may apply depending on the destination country and local regulations.
9.2. Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for paying any import duties, customs charges, taxes, fees or levies imposed by local authorities in the destination country.
9.3. These charges are NOT included in your order total, even if we offer free shipping. Free shipping means we cover the cost of the carrier — it does not include customs duties or import charges imposed by your country.
9.4. Failure to Pay Customs: If a parcel is returned to us because you failed to pay customs charges, we may deduct the return shipping cost and any applicable fees from any refund issued.
9.5. We are not responsible for delays, damages, inspections or seizures caused by customs authorities. We are not liable if goods are held, damaged, destroyed or confiscated by customs or border officials.
9.6. You are responsible for ensuring that the products you order are legal to import and use in your country.
9.7. Delivery estimates for international orders do not include customs clearance time.
10. Consumer Right to Cancel (14 Days)
10.1. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
10.2. The cancellation period runs from the date you (or a third party notified by you) physically receives the goods.
10.3. To cancel, you must notify us in writing via hello@riseabeauty.com.
10.4. You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to cancel.
10.5. Goods must be returned in original packaging with all included items, accessories and documentation.
10.6. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
10.7. We will refund the full purchase price plus the cost of our standard delivery option (if you paid for delivery) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
10.8. You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
10.9. Exclusions: Hygiene and intimate products cannot be returned once opened or used (see section 12).
10.10. This right does not affect your other statutory rights.
11. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
11.1. In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery.
11.2. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price, subject to the conditions below.
11.3. Goods must be returned in resaleable condition:
- In original packaging where reasonably possible
- With all included items, accessories and documentation
- Free from excessive use, damage or wear
- Handled only for inspection purposes
11.4. We reserve the right to inspect returned goods and apply a reasonable deduction if they are not in resaleable condition.
11.5. Return shipping costs are your responsibility and may be deducted from your refund.
11.6. Refunds under this guarantee cover the product purchase price only, not original delivery costs.
11.7. If you used a discount code, the proportional discount value may be deducted from your refund.
11.8. This guarantee is limited to one claim per order.
11.9. This guarantee does not apply to hygiene products (see section 12).
11.10. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
⚠️ HYGIENE & INTIMATE PRODUCTS CANNOT BE RETURNED (EXCEPT IF FAULTY)
12. Hygiene & Intimate Products (Non-Returnable)
12.1. The following products cannot be returned for refund (except if faulty) for hygiene, safety and legal reasons:
- IPL hair removal devices and epilators
- Intimate wellness or beauty devices
- Underwear, swimwear and intimate clothing
- Any product designed to be applied directly to the skin, mucous membranes or body cavities
- Personal care devices (facial steamers, massage devices, microcurrent devices, etc.) that contact skin
- Opened or used skincare, cosmetics and topical products
- Consumable items (replacement heads, pads, cartridges, etc.)
12.2. Exception — Faulty Items: Hygiene products may be returned only if we confirm they are faulty:
- The product does not power on or function at all
- The product is visibly defective or broken upon arrival
- The product does not match the advertised specifications
12.3. Fault assessment is determined on a case-by-case basis and may require photographic evidence or return of the item for inspection.
12.4. If a fault is confirmed, we may offer repair, replacement or refund at our sole discretion.
13. Returns & Refunds Process
13.1. How to Request a Return:

13.2. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.

13.4. Return Shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty. We recommend using an insured, tracked courier service.
13.5. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit when using your own courier.
13.6. Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 14 days.
13.7. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Your bank may take a further 2–5 business days to credit the refund to your account.
13.8. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.
14. Faulty, Damaged or Not As Described
14.1. If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrectly described product, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14.2. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence. For delivery damage, ideally contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate with the carrier.
14.3. What We Consider Faulty:
- Product does not power on (for electrical items)
- Product is visibly defective or broken upon arrival
- Product does not match advertised specifications or description
- Missing essential parts or components
14.4. What We Do NOT Consider Faulty:
- User error or improper use
- Failure to follow instructions or safety warnings
- Damage caused by customer mishandling
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Normal wear and tear from use
- Minor colour or packaging variations
- Subjective dissatisfaction with product performance
- Skin reactions, sensitivities or individual results from beauty products
14.5. If a fault is confirmed, we may offer repair, replacement or refund at our sole discretion.
14.6. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
15. Limited 12-Month Warranty
15.1. Warranty Period: We provide a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery on all products, covering manufacturing defects only.
15.2. What is Covered: Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
15.3. What is NOT Covered:
- User error of any kind
- Accidental damage or physical damage from dropping/impact
- Water damage, moisture or liquid spillage
- Misuse, improper installation or failure to follow instructions
- Use with incompatible devices, accessories or power sources
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Normal wear and tear from use
- Unauthorised modifications, repairs or opening of the product
- Use outside the manufacturer's specifications or guidelines
15.4. Warranty Claims: Contact us within 14 days of discovering the defect with proof of purchase and photographic evidence.
15.5. If a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we may at our sole discretion offer repair, replacement or refund.
15.6. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
15.7. This warranty is in addition to, not a replacement for, your statutory rights.
16. Product Safety & Usage
16.1. You are required to use all products exactly as described in the manufacturer's instructions, documentation and safety guidelines.
16.2. You must read and understand all supplied documentation before using any product.
16.3. Failure to follow manufacturer instructions constitutes user error and voids our liability for any resulting damage, injury or loss.
16.4. Products are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
16.5. You must not modify, alter, repair, open or tamper with any product except as expressly permitted by the manufacturer.
16.6. We are not liable for damage to third-party devices, software, accessories or property resulting from your use of our products, except where caused by our proven negligence.

17. Electrical & Skin Contact Device Disclaimers
17.1. Electrical Beauty Products (IPL devices, steamers, beauty tech, etc.):
- Use only as described in the manufacturer's instructions
- Inspect for damage before each use
- Do not use if cord, charger or product is damaged
- Do not immerse in water unless explicitly rated as waterproof
- Do not use near water unless expressly approved by the manufacturer
- Keep away from children and pets
- Use only with compatible power sources and voltages
17.2. Skin Contact and Beauty Devices (IPL, epilators, microcurrent, facial devices, etc.):
- Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before first use
- Do not use on broken, sunburned, irritated or sensitive skin
- Do not use near eyes unless explicitly safe for the eye area
- Do not use if pregnant, breastfeeding, have medical implants, pacemakers, or take photosensitising medications
- Stop immediately if you experience pain, burning, redness or adverse reactions
- Consult a dermatologist or doctor if you have sensitive skin, skin conditions or health concerns
- Check manufacturer guidance for skin tone compatibility (especially IPL devices)
- Do not use on tattoos, moles, birthmarks or areas with active infections
17.3. Topical Products (skincare, serums, creams, etc.):
- Perform a patch test before first use
- Read all ingredient lists before use, especially if you have known allergies
- Discontinue use if irritation, redness, swelling or adverse reaction occurs
- Consult a healthcare professional if you have skin conditions or allergies
- Individual results may vary; we make no guarantees regarding outcomes
17.4. Medical Disclaimer: Our products are not medical devices and do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or cure for any condition. If you have health concerns, skin conditions, allergies or any medical issue, consult a healthcare professional before use.
17.5. Liability Exclusion: Risea Beauty is NOT liable for any injury, allergic reaction, skin irritation, burns, scarring or other harm resulting from:
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions or safety warnings
- Misuse, improper use or use outside guidelines
- Use on incompatible or unsuitable skin types or areas
- Pre-existing skin conditions, sensitivities or medical conditions
- Individual allergic or adverse reactions
- Failure to perform required patch tests
- Known allergen sensitivities where ingredients are clearly listed
17.6. You assume all risk when purchasing and using beauty and skin contact products. By placing your order, you acknowledge that you accept full responsibility for any consequences of product use.
18. Customer Responsibility & Liability
18.1. You are solely responsible for:
- Using products as described in the supplied documentation
- Following all safety warnings and instructions
- Any injury, damage, loss or harm resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions
- Checking ingredient lists for known allergens before use
- Performing patch tests where recommended
- Inspection for damage upon receipt and prompt notification of any issues
- Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
18.2. Risea Beauty is NOT liable for:
- Misuse or use contrary to instructions
- Allergic reactions, skin irritation or adverse effects
- Personal injury or health complications from product use
- Damage to third-party property from customer use
- Loss or theft after delivery to the provided address
18.3. The customer assumes all risk of loss, damage or injury from product use.
19. Privacy & Data
19.1. Your privacy and personal information are important to us.
19.2. Our Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services. Your data is handled in accordance with Shopify's Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy.
19.3. We use Omnisend for email marketing. By providing your email address, you consent to receive marketing communications. You may opt out at any time.
19.4. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties located in other countries in order to provide services to you.
19.5. You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us at hello@riseabeauty.com to exercise these rights.
19.6. If you are in the EU or UK, your data is processed in accordance with GDPR and UK data protection laws.
20. Intellectual Property

20.2. These Terms permit you to use our Services for personal, non-commercial use only.
20.3. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, download, store or transmit any content from our Services without prior written consent.
20.4. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
20.5. Shopify's names, logos and trademarks are the property of Shopify. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
21. User Feedback, Reviews & Content
21.1. If you submit reviews, feedback or any other content ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display such Feedback in any medium for any purpose.
21.2. You represent that you own all rights to Feedback submitted and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
21.3. Review Disclaimer: Product reviews represent individual opinions and experiences. Claims about results, health or wellness have not been independently verified by Risea Beauty. Individual results vary.
21.4. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user reviews. Reliance on user-generated content is at your own risk.
21.5. We may monitor, edit or remove Feedback that we determine to be unlawful, offensive or otherwise objectionable.
21.6. You are solely responsible for any Feedback you submit. We assume no liability for Feedback posted by you or any third party.
22. Third-Party Links & Tools
22.1. Our Services may contain hyperlinks and embedded functionality from third parties. We do not control or endorse these resources.
22.2. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to your access of third-party websites or your use of third-party products or services.
22.3. Third-party tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

23. Relationship with Shopify
23.1. Risea Beauty is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
23.2. Any sales and purchases made in our store are made directly with Risea Beauty, not with Shopify.
23.3. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Risea Beauty, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from purchased products or services.
23.4. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Risea Beauty.
24. Prohibited Uses
24.1. You may access and use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not:

25.4. Agents must:

- Not conceal that interactions are automated
- Not mimic human behaviour patterns
- Not circumvent CAPTCHAs or human verification measures
- Respond truthfully to any human/computer verification
25.5. Violation constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access.
26. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
26.1. Information on our Services may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges or availability.
26.2. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.
27. Disclaimer of Warranties
27.1. Information on the Services is for general purposes only. Reliance on such information is at your own risk.
27.2. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED BY RISEA BEAUTY OR AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
27.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement.
27.4. We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of statutory rights that cannot legally be limited
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law
28.2. Subject to section 28.1, our total liability in respect of any claim arising from or connected with a product or our Services shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
28.3. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RISEA BEAUTY, OUR PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any injury, loss, claim or damage of any kind
- Direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages
- Loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings
- Loss of data or software
- Replacement costs
- Claims made against you by third parties
- Any loss that could have been avoided by following our instructions or warnings
28.4. This limitation applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
28.5. For Business Customers: All implied warranties, conditions and terms are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
28.6. If applicable law does not permit exclusion of certain liabilities, our liability shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
29. Indemnification
29.1. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Risea Beauty, Shopify and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party
- Your access to and use of the Services
- Your misuse of any product purchased from us
- Any Feedback or content you submit
29.2. We will notify you of any indemnifiable claim. We may control the defense and settlement at your expense but will not settle claims requiring non-monetary obligations from you without your consent.
29.3. You will cooperate in the defense of indemnified claims.
30. Termination
30.1. We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services at our sole discretion at any time without notice.
30.2. The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy, and any provisions that by their nature should survive.
31. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, wars, terrorism, strikes, government actions, carrier delays, customs delays, supply chain disruptions, internet outages, cyberattacks, power outages or telecommunications failures.
32. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
33. Waiver & Entire Agreement
33.1. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
33.2. These Terms, together with our Returns & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Contact Information page, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
33.3. Any ambiguities shall not be construed against the drafting party.
34. Assignment
34.1. You may not transfer or assign this agreement without our prior written consent. Any such attempt will be null and void.
34.2. We may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms without consent or notice to you.

35.2. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check periodically.
35.3. Your continued use of the Services following changes constitutes acceptance.
36. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
36.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of where you are located.
36.2. For Consumers: You may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country may also apply.
36.3. Dispute Resolution: If you have a dispute, please contact us first at hello@riseabeauty.com. We will do everything we can to resolve the matter.
36.4. You and Risea Beauty agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
